Job Summary
Implement the College's philosophy and curriculum objectives through clinical teaching and service to the community. Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care to individuals or groups. Evaluate student performance, provide documented feedback, and offer remediation as required. Develop written clinical assignments, grade homework and tests, and maintain current knowledge of agency policies. Orient students to clinical procedures and report student or agency issues to the course coordinator. Teach didactic content under supervision and keep the coordinator informed of all concerns.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Florida
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Illinois RN License
