Job Summary
Implement the College's curriculum and course objectives through direct clinical teaching, supervision, and evaluation of nursing students delivering care. Plan clinical experiences, develop written assignments, and provide documented feedback to students based on performance levels. Orient students to agency policies, offer remediation as needed, and correct academic work including quizzes and clinical paperwork. Contribute to program development, assessment initiatives, and retention efforts while serving as a professional role model for students and colleagues. Maintain current knowledge of clinical procedures and report student or agency issues to the course coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in Ohio
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
