Job Summary
Manage receiving and shipping operations, including arranging equipment and supply shipments to various NUNA project sites. Oversee daily warehouse activities within shipping and receiving areas, ensuring all processes meet safety standards and regulatory compliance. Direct, coordinate, and prioritize inbound and outbound shipment flows while training and coaching staff to achieve optimal performance targets. Lead effective solutions for continuous improvement and maintain a safe work environment. This role supports Nuna Logistics, a leading Inuit-owned contractor delivering earthworks and mine construction services across remote locations in Northern Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years supervisory experience in a distribution setting or similar environment
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience relating to inventory management
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work with people of all levels within the organization
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong problem solving skills and sound decision making abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial construction and/or mining experience preferred
