Job Summary
Monitor, maintain and manage inventory of materials and supplies; utilize inventory management software to track and analyze inventory levels; forecast supply needs based on project requirements; coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and manage deliveries; perform regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy; organize storage areas for optimal efficiency, maintaining cleanliness and safety regulations; communicate with team members regarding material needs and availability; prepare and present reports on inventory levels and consumption; comply with all organizational policies and regulations pertaining to materials management; identify and suggest improvements to current procurement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Material Management Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Experience with purchasing and procurement procedures
- High school diploma; further education in logistics or relevant field will be appreciated
