Job Summary
Lead and coordinate shipping operations for finished assemblies to Mercedes-Benz in Vance, AL, ensuring 100% shipment accuracy and on-time deliveries. Oversees documentation (MAPICS, FUTURE 3), labeling, ASN creation, part-number control (ZGS changes), and ship staging. Manages overtime/weekend coverage, problem solving, training, and continuous improvement. Requires strong Excel/Word, communication, analytical and math skills, and prior inventory/production control experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with MAPICS and FUTURE 3 shipping systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
