Materials Scientist (Atom Probe Tomography)

Job Summary
Scientist to support Atom Probe Tomography (APT) services at Eurofins EAG Laboratories. Responsible for specimen preparation using Focused Ion Beam (FIB), operating the CAMECA LEAP instrument for data acquisition, data processing and reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support high-impact analytical services for semiconductor clients. Requires an MS or PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (or related field) and at least 2 years of hands-on APT experience; preferred TEM experience and familiarity with FIB/SEM, automated specimen fabrication, and semiconductor technologies. Must work in a defense-regulated environment under ITAR, with strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; standard work hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Atom Probe Tomography
- Experience preparing samples using FIB for APT or TEM
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
