Job Summary
Materials Program Manager (Taiwan) leads end-to-end materials readiness and execution for critical hardware components, owning material lifecycle from NPI through ramp to sustaining production. Interfaces with engineering, operations, and manufacturing partners to ensure material availability, drive supply chain strategy, and support ramp planning. Responsibilities include owning material clear-to-build for PCBs, interposers, electronics and mechanicals; coordinating with Taiwan-based JDM on material readiness and delivery schedules; driving supplier execution across NPI and ramp; managing supplier relationships with sourcing and procurement; coordinating across hardware engineering, logistics, and suppliers to support pre-production builds and EVT/DVT/PVT milestones. Strong emphasis on cross-functional program management, electronics/mechanical assemblies, and supplier collaboration. Bonus: experience with PLM/ERP systems (Teamcenter, NetSuite, SAP); NPI material management in high-growth environments; experience with Tier 1 contract manufacturers.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in materials program management or supply chain operations
- Track record of driving cross-functional hardware programs from concept to production
- Strong understanding of electronics, mechanical assemblies, and silicon manufacturing supply chains
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Nice-to-have: experience with NPI material management in high-growth/startup environments
- Nice-to-have: PLM systems (Teamcenter) and MRP/ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP)
- Experience with Tier 1 contract manufacturers and component suppliers
