Job Summary
Plan all BOM materials to ensure right availability at in-house FATP and contract manufacturers, managing Tier 2 materials at CM sites to build and ship critical modules. Drive material readiness via Clear-to-Build reports to meet production plans and customer orders while developing strategies to balance inventory levels and cost exposure. Proactively identify supply chain risks, communicate mitigation steps across stakeholders and XFN teams, and escalate issues timely. Effectively use CTB to drive Engineering Change Orders, product transitions, and material revisions to ensure supply continuity and minimize obsolescence. Collaborate with purchasing to drive supply commits, close shortages, and establish supplier strategies. Work fluidly in a cross-functional environment involving manufacturing, program management, product development, design, supply chain, production control, and logistics teams. Engage with system developers to build and improve internal tools. Must be on site in Hayward, California three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations
- 4 to 6 years of related experience in OEM/JDM/ODM hardware business
- prior CM experience
- Strong analytical and data-based problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present material status effectively in weekly program/executive meetings
- Must be a collaborative team player
- Must be on site in Hayward, California (3 days mandatory on site per week)
- Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment
