Job Summary
Support overnight operation and monitoring of chemical vapor deposition reactors, including cleaning, inspecting, and preparing equipment for production runs. Execute standard operating procedures to document process data, perform routine maintenance, and assist with basic troubleshooting to maximize reactor uptime. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop process operations while maintaining safe, organized work areas. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to consistently execute established procedures with minimal supervision during a night shift from 11:30 pm to 7:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- Must be able to travel up to 30%
- Must be able to lift more than 50lbs
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
- Eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required U.S. Government security clearance or other government authorization
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certificate or associate degree
- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating technical equipment
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Comfortable working a night shift in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
