Job Summary
Direct and administer materials management, scheduling, and production planning activities, including control of all aspects of inventory for the division. Develop production plans responding to forecasted business demands and manage Sales and Operations Planning. Analyze inventory and delivery problems, provide shipping and inventory data to financial management, and develop or approve information systems for manufacturing control and statistical reporting. Carry out organizational policy, enforce safety regulations, and interpret company policies to employees. Assure efficient material utilization, improve methods, and eliminate wasteful practices within the department. Develop workforce planning programs, implement cross-training activities, and establish Critical Success Factors for employees. Requires a Bachelor's degree, eight years of materials planning experience, and SAP ERP knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relative field
- 8 years of experience in materials planning, inventory, and warehouse stock control
- 3 years of functional team management
- Notable knowledge and experience in the implementation and utilization of MRP systems
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and in giving presentations
