Job Summary
Direct the team in daily execution of finished goods and work-in-progress planning while managing inventory levels and turn goals to reduce back orders. Coordinate cross-functional meetings to review supply and demand plans, modify forecasts for historical and environmental events, and address long-term constraints affecting customer service levels. Meet with senior management to obtain strategic information impacting the forecast and coach staff on continuous development and performance management. This role supports Crown Technical Systems' turn-key power distribution solutions within the Global Procurement & Supply Chain category.
Required Qualifications
- Experience directing a team in the use of best practices in daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning
- Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring a team
- Experience working with a team on continuous development and performance management
- Experience directing activities of Planners to ensure inventory level and turn goals are achieved
- Experience reducing back orders and enhancing customer service
- Experience meeting with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast
- Experience working with a team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events
- Experience working closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast
- Experience holding cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan
- Experience reviewing issues and making recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog
- Knowledge of power distribution and protection systems
- Knowledge of relay and control panels
- Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear
- Knowledge of enclosures (power/control buildings/ E-Houses)
- Knowledge of customized, turn-key solutions
- Knowledge of safe, secure, and reliable power distribution
