Materials Planning Analyst

Develop and review Material Requirements Planning (MRP), acting on exception messages to expediting, rescheduling, or canceling orders. Monitor inventory levels, stock coverage, and inventory turn to prevent stock-outs and reduce excess inventory. Plan and monitor import orders, considering international lead times, logistics constraints, and exchange rate fluctuations. Develop and monitor key performance indicators such as service level and forecast accuracy while preparing analytical reports. Act as a liaison between Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Purchasing teams to resolve shortages and align forecasts during the Sales and Operations Planning process. Utilize ERP/MRP systems and Business Intelligence tools to automate reports and maintain planning parameters.
