Job Summary
Materials Manager (Warehouse & Logistics) responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and the material flow from receipt to shipment at our Jacksonville, FL location. Focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating deliveries to support production, leading daily warehouse activities, and implementing lean material-replenishment systems. Collaborates with Supply Chain and Quality teams to monitor supplier performance, resolve vendor returns, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in inventory control/warehouse/logistics within manufacturing; ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/Infor), lean practices (kanban), and proven leadership. This is a full-time, in-office role with no remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related discipline
- 4+ years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Experience designing, implementing and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems (kanban)
- ERP/MRP systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor Syteline)
- Hands-on leadership experience directing daily warehouse and material flow activities
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive communicator with ability to articulate business results and department needs
