Materials Manager, Supply Chain

Job Summary
Lead and develop the Planning and Scheduling team to deliver aligned demand, supply, capacity, and execution for aerospace manufacturing. Own weekly MPS cycles, monthly SIOP/IBP reviews, and daily shop-floor scheduling; validate MPS feasibility balancing capacity, inventory targets, material availability, and customer requirements. Drive MRP implementation and ongoing improvements, maintain accurate capacity models and high-quality planning data across BOMs, routings, parameters, and master data. Partner with Integrated Program Teams to reconcile forecasts, manage past-due items, and contribute to MPS governance. Align shop-floor schedules with inventory strategies to optimize execution and monitor KPIs such as Master Schedule Adherence and Days Inventory Outstanding. Apply PDCA, A3, and structured problem solving to close performance gaps and support continuous improvement; provide planning metrics and insights for Operations Capability Reviews and other forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 or more years of supply chain planning experience, including SIOP and IBP, MPS, production scheduling, and MRP system leadership or implementation
- Expertise in forecasting, MPS and MRP, and capacity planning
- Demonstrated experience implementing or enhancing MRP systems, planning modules, or enterprise resource planning integrations
- Strong leadership capability, analytical skills, and cross functional communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed
Desired Qualifications
- APICS BSCM certification; APICS CPIM certification preferred
- Experience with Cincom Management System planning modules
- Lean, Continuous Improvement, KPI driven performance management
- Experience leading or participating in ERP or MRP system upgrades, implementations, or transitions
