Job Summary
Manage material planning, production planning, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities to support on-time customer order fulfillment. Monitor and drive key performance indicators including inventory health, inventory turns, days of inventory, production attainment, delivery performance, service levels, and back-order reduction. Develop and communicate supply plans through enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and reports with cross-functional teams. Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize excess and obsolete inventory risks. Direct and develop department personnel by managing staffing requirements, conducting performance reviews, providing training, and maintaining departmental policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, production planning, procurement, inventory management, or related operations
- Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Experience managing inventory, production planning, and material flow processes within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Financial knowledge or training related to budgeting, cost management, or operational performance metrics
