Job Summary
Direct and coordinate personnel engaged in movement, distribution, and logistics of raw materials, equipment, and supplies. Issue, monitor, and distribute weekly production schedules while maintaining hourly payroll and responding to requests to ensure delivery ratings remain unaffected. Lead material planning from raw materials to finished goods, prepare procedures for material control systems, and execute physical inventory with Finance and all departments. Develop plans to monitor safety stocks, min/max levels, and material flow, and lead month-end close activities including inventory reconciliation and cycle counts. Support supplier discussions, file customer/supplier claims, and monitor customer websites as mandated. Piston Automotive builds better teams dedicated to excellence through experience and expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
- Eight years of experience as a Materials Supervisor or Manager or a related role
- Previous Ford Experience
