Job Summary
Lead and facilitate daily and strategic Materials Management as the Materials Management leader. Drive continuous improvement by involving employees in problem solving and decision making and recognizing exceptional performance. Maintain high visibility and hands-on approach to problem solving in support of Materials. Develop, coach and implement Materials Management methodologies aligned with nVent’s Lean mindset to drive sustained improvements in velocity and inventory accuracy. Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cash. Rotate between office and plant floor.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to present and influence views clearly
- Lean Manufacturing mindset
- Change Management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Comfort rotating between office and plant floor
