Job Summary
Materials and Warehouse Manager responsible for on-floor material flow from inbound receipt through production staging to shipping, owning the execution and sustainment of a redesigned system. Leads daily floor audits, acts as plant-level SME for RF scanning and ERP transactions, and drives adherence to material flow standards through cross-functional collaboration without direct supervision. Requires 8–12+ years in manufacturing materials leadership, ERP/WMS experience (D365 preferred), and a track record of reducing discrepancies and optimizing inventory accuracy. First-shift, salaried exempt, with a 70K–90K base salary and full benefits; initial 90-day assessment of warehouse organization, gaps, and safety, plus ongoing process-improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 8–12+ years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or material flow leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in WMS/ERP system management and material flow
- D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of implementing or sustaining scanning/barcoding systems and RF scanner operations in manufacturing
- Experience driving accountability and process compliance across departments without direct authority
- History of reducing inventory discrepancies, improving transaction accuracy, and sustaining warehouse standards
- Comfortable conducting physical audits and using data to drive operational conversations with peer-level and senior stakeholders
- Ability to own warehouse floor map and location structure; adapt to evolving operations
