Job Summary
Responsible for distribution and storage of materials to hospital user departments; maintains computerized inventory control; handles decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies; follows infection prevention practices; performs requisitions and inventory tasks, prioritizes duties, and participates in performance improvement activities; communicates with department staff; ensures proper storage, sterilization, and timely replenishment of supplies; supports autoclave operation and maintains records; weekend on-call responsibilities; emphasizes accuracy, organization, and adherence to procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
