Job Summary
Prioritize and process Warehouse work/trip requests, warehouse requisitions, and operate non-CDL vehicles under the supervision of the Materials Management Supervisor. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts, and other equipment used in Warehouse operations while reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Perform routine report writing and correspondence, utilizing mathematical skills to compute ratios, rates, and percents. Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and operate basic computer software applications as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Valid Class D -driver's license
- valid medical card
- Ability to operate pallet jacks
- forklifts

- other equipment used in Warehouse operations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form

- occasionally move and/or lift up to 100 pounds
