Materials Management Coordinator

Job Summary
Direct and ensure data entry and transfer of engineering drawings, bulk material, and tagged equipment requirements to Smart Materials (SMat). Utilize RFID technology to support MM team members and verify tag naming structures for all tagged equipment lists. Develop and maintain material planning dashboards to support allocation and distribution per the project execution plan, while coordinating bulk materials to off-site fabrication facilities and job sites. Perform material quantification analysis to identify potential surplus or shortages and assist the MM Lead with status and metrics reporting. Ensure engineering material requisitions conform to project standards and that all information supports SMat work processes including planning, tracking, and purchasing.
Required Qualifications
- EPC industry experience in the function of MM
- Proficiency in Expediting
- experience in one or more Procurement functions
- Knowledge of commercial management
- experience in project planning and operations, including both office and jobsite locations
- Knowledge of Engineering, Construction and Quality procedures
- 15 days on 13 days off (15x13) rotation
- Successful clearance of applicable pre-employment checks
- Criminal Background/Police Information check
- Drug & Alcohol test
- Reference checks
- submittal of Provincial Driver's Abstract
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in Business, Engineering or Construction Management
- Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of Engineering, Construction and Quality procedures is desirable
