Job Summary
Process all storeroom requisitions, accurately fill and deliver supply orders to requesting departments, and assist with receiving functions. Label products per guidelines, stock inventory in designated locations, and record daily transactions into the CPSI Materials Management Information System. Participate in scheduled inventory cycle counts and year-end physical inventory while maintaining proper maintenance and organization of all department supplies. Act as a materials management resource for departments, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks under the Director of Materials Management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School diploma
- Experience in the functional use of computer software, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to enter data at a rapid pace, correctly, and with minimal errors
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: Floor to waist - 50 pounds
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: 14" to waist - 50 pounds
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: Waist to shoulder - 30 pounds
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: Shoulder to overhead - 20 pounds
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: Carry 50 pounds for 30 feet
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: Push 50 pounds/force for 30 feet
- Physical strength to perform the following lifting tasks: Pull 50 pounds/force for 30 feet
- Visual acuity to proof-read and check typed and handwritten documents for accuracy daily
- Ability to use a computer both to enter and retrieve data
- Auditory acuity to communicate with customers effectively
- Ability to function professionally in stressful and space limiting conditions
