Materials Management and Controlled Substance Specialist

Manage the Materials Management Program by overseeing receipt, quarantine, release, storage, dispensing, transfer, shipment, inventory control, and disposal of raw materials, APIs, and controlled substances in compliance with DEA and regulatory requirements. Coordinate material supply and logistics operations including sampling, testing, inter-site transfers, hazardous material transportation, and customs clearance. Administer reference standard and sample management programs while ensuring controlled substance accountability through inventory management, reconciliation, recordkeeping, and physical security controls. Support regulatory licensing, reporting, and inspection readiness by maintaining DEA registrations and supporting audits. Develop compliance systems and procedures, then collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure efficient operations.
