Job Summary
Lead enterprise-wide materials management strategies across all manufacturing locations, overseeing warehouse operations, material flow, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Develop standardized processes, KPIs, and lean initiatives to optimize working capital, safety, and on-time delivery while managing inbound and outbound logistics. Partner with Operations, Supply Planning, and Procurement to eliminate shortages, reduce freight costs, and implement automation solutions. Build a high-performing team through talent development and succession planning, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in materials management, warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain
- Experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated success implementing warehouse and material flow improvements
- Experience leading large teams and managing organizational transformation
- ERP systems experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics best practices
- Advanced analytical and KPI management capabilities
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement expertise
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, control panels, switchgear, automation, or related industries preferred
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Supply Chain or Logistics certifications
