Job Summary
Material Handler staging scanner position responsible for unloading trailers, scanning, weighing, and labeling products entering and leaving the receiving cooler, and transporting combos to the staging dumper area. Maintains 100% inventory accuracy throughout the production day and may back up the shag truck driver as needed. Requires 6:30 a.m. start, Monday–Friday with overtime/weekend work, and ability to obtain forklift/pallet-jack certification; detailed duties include scanning, weighing, communicating with leadership about trailer movements, and maintaining safety and housekeeping in a damp, cold production environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 6 months production experience preferred; valid driver’s license and basic computer skills required.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months work history
- 3 months operator experience preferred
- ability to obtain pallet jacket & forklift certification
- ability to learn to drive a shag truck
- valid driver’s license
- basic computer skills
- ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
- ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months production experience preferred
- experience driving shag truck preferred
