Job Summary
Materials Handler in Production Control responsible for shipping/receiving, replenishment, and housekeeping for the assembly line. Performs forklift/hand-tool operations, packaging-breakdown, and input of receiving material into SAP. Supports continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts to reduce defects and optimize inventory, with overtime and flexible scheduling as needed. Reports to Material Handling Team Leader and emphasizes safety through PPE and adherence to EEO policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One year of experience in forklift operation or inventory control procedures
- Must pass applicable drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
- Ability to operate forklift or tug or learn to operate
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including 12 hour shifts/7 days a week
