Job Summary
Move pallets of materials from staging areas into decase stations and monitor inventory levels by communicating needs to the Decase Lead. Reconcile material usage using basic math skills and maintain room cleanliness by cleaning floors, clearing debris, and sorting unused pallets. Relieve and assist Stockers and Materials Handlers as needed while safely operating powered industrial trucks. Adhere to food safety, quality, and material handling requirements including proper product segregation and PPE. Work in a cold environment (30°F to 40°F) standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds for 8 to 10 hours. Maintain attendance standards with no active disciplinary actions or warnings within the past six months.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 4 attendance points
- No Final Attendance warning in the previous six (6) months
- No Written Warning for Job Performance In the previous six (6) months
- No active disciplinary actions on file within the past 6 months
- Self-motivated
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Safely work around Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including forklifts
- Willing and able to work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from approximately 30°F to 40°F
- Willing and able to stand, walk, kneel, reach, and crouch for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
- Willing and able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Willing and able to push and pull pallets of materials using a manual pallet jack
- Willing and able to wear safety toe footwear as required for the position
- Willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety and food quality purposes
