Materials Handler I - Swing Shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM)

Job Summary
Execute receiving, inspection, disposition, storing, staging, and distribution of materials for assembly and manufacturing using electronic material management systems. Perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and document non-conforming materials while maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories. Move materials within and between designated areas using handcarts, forklifts, or approved equipment, and coordinate with warehousing partners to support storage and replenishment. Monitor inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate tracking of regulated materials in compliance with EHS and Quality System requirements. Collaborate with logistics and production teams to resolve shortages and support new hire training.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent
- Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language (English)
- Proficient in basic mathematics
- Ability to communicate well and work with others
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to consistently lift, stand and walk for the entire shift
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Comply with all applicable GE HealthCare quality system requirements, including Stop Orders, Concessions, Non‐Conforming Material controls, material identification and segregation, documentation configuration control, Good Documentation Practices, approved supplier/sourcing, and DMR/DHR requirements relevant to the role
- Adhere to the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Policies, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations
- Complete all required quality and compliance training within established timelines
- Proactively identify, report, and address quality or compliance concerns, taking corrective action as required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of computerized material flow methods
- Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methods
- Prior experience using a forklift and weight scales
