Job Summary
Materials Handler I at Trane Technologies is responsible for receiving freight, data entry into systems, and adhering to 5S standards while rotating through different workstations as production demands require. The role may require certification for operation of equipment such as Mules, Tuggers, Powered Industrial Trucks, Stackers and/or Overhead Cranes. The position emphasizes a team-oriented, detail-focused work style in a fast-moving environment, with physical requirements including lifting up to 35 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Must be PIV certified
- Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation
- 3 – 6 months of material handling experience
- Must be able to read and write English for assembly directions and Work Order packets and safety instructions
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. as required
- Experience with data entry into systems
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
- Good verbal communication and analytical/problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
