Materials Handler

Job Summary
The Materials Handler will perform a wide range of inventory control activities to support electronics manufacturing, including receiving materials to Creation standards, kitting materials for production orders, recording movement of inventory in ERP, researching discrepancies, and aiding in maintaining accurate inventory at point-of-use stations. Key duties include maintaining cycle counts by location, transacting materials in ERP to reflect physical movements, picking/counting/labeling/transacting parts for production, expediting materials to support manufacturing, verifying receive via purchase orders, utilizing packaging and handling methods to protect parts (including ESD and moisture-sensitive components), applying FIFO and organized storage, entering cycle counts, reconciling inventory, handling returns, processing adjustments within approval hierarchy, following part specifications for tape and reel packaging, cross-training within Materials, and maintaining 5S and safety standards. Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience with inventory transactions and queries in ERP system
- 1 year experience using pallet trucks, tools, and equipment to handle and move material
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalency
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Basic computer navigation skills, including email applications
- Proficient English business communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work closely with others and have good communication skills
- Must be very detailed oriented
- Excellent organization skills
- Be flexible, adaptable, able and willing to modify activities and direction with a dynamic business environment
- Self-motivated, requires minimal supervision
- Able to efficiently work in a high-volume, fast-paced, team environment
