Job Summary
Coordinates, directs and oversees the day-to-day operational activities within assigned areas to meet hospital supply needs; maintains high level of customer satisfaction and efficiency by responding proactively to inquiries. Develops and maintains professional relationships with department staff and customers; ensures open communication, conducts in-service training and improvement planning. Manages staff development and ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; handles customer inquiries and performs troubleshooting with autonomy. Requires high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of materials handling experience, with thorough knowledge of supply chain, warehousing and inventory control; preferred supervisory experience and inventory control certification. HIPAA and privacy policy compliance are required as part of duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years’ materials handling experience.
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain principles, warehousing and inventory control.
- Preferred Previous supervisory experience.
- Inventory control certification.
