Job Summary
Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions for aerospace components and assemblies. Quote new and repeat components while supporting production operations in heat treating, brazing, welding, and special processes. Review customer drawings and specifications to improve manufacturability and efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to drive troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports Joined Alloys' aerospace manufacturing division in Phoenix, Arizona, focusing on precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, and non-destructive testing within AS9100D and NADCAP certified environments.
Required Qualifications
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- BS degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience with NADCAP and AS9100 environments
- Familiarity with special processes and aerospace specifications
- Pre-employment drug screening, including THC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with machining and/or sheet metal fabrication
- CAD/CAM experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
