Job Summary
Receive incoming materials and equipment, verifying accuracy and condition before signing delivery. Maintain inventory levels by performing issues and credits, replenishing specialty carts, and checking for outdated supplies. Prepare, distribute, and transport supplies to facilities in response to requisitions and purchase orders. Operate material handling machinery such as reach trucks and order pickers while ensuring security and cleanliness in all working areas. Perform data entry into the Material Management Computer System and hand-held devices. Work as needed Monday through Friday from 0630 to 1500 across Burlington, Lakeland, and Southern Lakes sites. No licensure or experience required; high school graduation and basic computer skills necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Ability to operate and understand basic computer functions
- Ability to operate and understand data entry systems and devices
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, bend, squat, and twist the majority of the workday
- Must be able to crawl, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. from floor to overhead
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance
- Must be able to push/pull with 20 lbs. of force
- Must be able to operate material handling machinery (i.e., Reach trucks, order pickers, pallet movers)
