MATERIALS ASSOCIATE I

Enter stock issues and direct patient charges into the Materials Management Information System. Label all items in the central supply storeroom and pull dispensing orders for Par Carts, Case Carts, and walk-up orders. Deliver inbound shipments to end user departments, receive vendor deliveries, and sign for them. Create patient charge labels using bar code printers and restock warehouse shelves neatly. Aids in cycle counts and physical inventory processes while maintaining accurate on-hand balances. Recommends warehouse space allocation changes to management and provides training to peer staff on patient charging, stock issues, and receiving procedures. Communicates professionally with customers and support personnel while following safety standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
