Materials Analyst

Job Summary
Responsible for data evaluation across the Materials function; audits data, prepares reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on inspection of data from multiple sources (e.g., customer bills of material reports, staff metrics, PPV metrics) and may create/maintain databases to support data collection. Collects, compiles, evaluates, and presents various types of data; prepares summary reports and charts. Identifies data integrity issues, escalates when needed, and suggests process/communication improvements related to metric tracking. Tracks materials financial performance and initiates corrective actions as required. Requires strong operational focus in warehouse operations with ERP exposure (BAAN preferred) and advanced Excel capabilities. The role emphasizes leadership of large teams, cross-functional collaboration with external warehouses and transportation/logistics, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations; background as Warehouse Supervisor is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership managing large teams (minimum 30 direct reports)
- Experience managing multi-shift operations (3 shifts)
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes: receiving, storage, picking, and material handling
- Experience coordinating with external warehouses and transportation/logistics
- ERP knowledge (BAAN preferred)
- Experience tracking and analyzing operational KPIs
- Advanced Excel skills (charts, pivot tables, macros)
- Results-driven mindset with focus on operational control and continuous improvement
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency
