Job Summary
Conduct shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution tasks including cycle counting, bin-to-bin transfers, and hand-loading carts for production areas. Perform material staging in SAP, manage goods receipts for vendor deliveries, and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and shrink wrappers while following Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies. Troubleshoot basic operational issues and manage frequent assignment changes within a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Complete required SAP training to obtain necessary system profiles.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree
- 2 years' experience in a shipping environment
- minimum 1 year SAP
- Previous work experience with the use of material handling equipment (pallet jacket, forklift, shrink wrapper)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specification
- Can effectively work in a team setting and communicate effectively across the department
- Must be able to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computer
- Must be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changes
- Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
- Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of Windows environment
- Use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be able to work in a repetitive work environment and be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to obtain in-house fork truck certification
- Must follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures
- Must follow all client safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work overtime as required to meet client business requirements
