Job Summary
Perform quality inspections and preparations under supervision; support continuous improvement and CORE and EH&S initiatives; operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs); refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader; may perform field calls, sample prep activities, and alloy change quality checks under an approved trainer; require ascending/descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, lifting up to 25 pounds, working at heights over 60’ with harness, and use of metal processing equipment; shift: Monday - Thursday (4x10) 10:00pm - 8:00am onsite in Clayville, NY; ability to work hours outside typical shift; role is onsite with a salary of $21.00 per hour and potential incentive programs depends on business unit and performance.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma (or GED)
- Good attendance record
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work from heights – up to 60’
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs, stand for extended periods, bend, squat, twist, overhead reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
