Job Summary
Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials while safely operating forklifts to transport supplies inside and outside the facility. Verify items against packing slips, process receipts, and prepare bills of lading for internal or external shipments. Pull and verify materials for production orders, support cycle counts, and sort items by destination to match purchase order details. Use the inventory management system to track material movements and respond to requests with effective communication. Work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a manufacturing environment requiring PPE and physical lifting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to successfully complete forklift training and obtain and maintain a forklift license
- Ability to acquire and understand lean manufacturing concepts
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site
- Forklift license
- 6 months experience in the manufacturing industry
