Job Summary
Material Supervisor to oversee material flow, inventory accuracy, receiving, storage, kitting, and delivery of aerospace components to support production schedules and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include supervising material handling, coordinating with Production Planning/Purchasing/Quality/Manufacturing, managing ERP/MRP transactions, overseeing receiving inspections and traceability, ensuring compliance with FAA/AS9100/ISO/OSHA standards, training warehouse personnel, supporting lean initiatives, resolving inventory discrepancies, and coordinating domestic/international shipments when required. Key skills include Inventory Management, Material Planning, Leadership, ERP/MRP systems, Aerospace Compliance, Problem Solving, and Lean Manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Aviation Management, or related field preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain within aerospace or manufacturing environments.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials traceability and documentation requirements.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and logistics processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments and meet production deadlines.
