Job Summary
Receive, verify, and stage stock against requisitions and production orders for printing. Operate forklifts, compactors, and hand tools while cutting material to correct sizes and verifying stock dimensions against print images. Issue jobs to presses and maintain cleanliness of staging areas. Complete administrative functions for materials received and issued, perform inventory preparation and cycle counting, and communicate issues to supervisors. Maintain press supplies and assist in other warehouse or departmental areas as needed. Work mandatory weekends and overtime with a standing shift involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Detail orientated with strong analytical skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to perform mathematical calculations & measuring skills
- Strong ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
- Work well within cross-functional departments to ensure productivity, quality, and timeliness of deliveries
- Work scheduled mandatory weekends and overtime
- Standing for entire assigned shift
- Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (Includes upward pulling) of up to 50 lbs
- Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder
- Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Stepping up and down ladders up to 16 feet
- Perceiving the nature of sounds by ear
- Ability to identify texture of material such as if lamination has been applied and being able to distinguish different gauges of material thickness
- Verbal communication including giving instruction and exchanging information with necessary detail and delivery
- Communication including listening to people convey instructions or conversation, and distinguishing noises from machines and within the plant
Desired Qualifications
- Practical warehouse, order pulling and inventory control experience
- Forklift experience
