Job Summary
Manage the flow of direct material through manufacturing cells by ensuring timely creation and release of Production Orders and Purchase Requisitions. Provide functional material responsibility for assembly, machining, and subcontracting processes, including material movements within the warehouse and shop. Identify critical material shortages, monitor corrective actions, control inventory levels, and coordinate the disposition of obsolete or non-conforming components. Maintain manufacturing Bill of Material and Master Data accuracy while ensuring system cleanliness through date management and exception analysis. Monitor schedule adherence, on-time release, and work order completion to mitigate risks in meeting production plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing management or planning position
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, Inventory Management and Warehouse Modules, Materials, or Production Planning and Control
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, Supply Chain or related fields
- Experience working with modern ERP: SAP platform
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage changing/conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
- Analytical and system proficiency skills
- Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
- Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government
