Material Recovery Facility Manager III

Job Summary
Manages the day-to-day operations of a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to ensure environmental safety and operational excellence. Oversees site operations (gatehouse, sorting, loading), reduces costs and turnaround times for trucks, and drives continuous improvement. Acts as liaison for community relationships, ensures compliance with Waste Management's Mission to Zero standards, and handles budgeting, reporting, and training to develop a positive, high-performing team of 4 direct and 50-60 indirect employees. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination with 4 years of experience) and 7 years of relevant experience, with supervisory responsibilities in a high-volume materials-recovery environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 7 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
- Direct supervision of 4 full-time employees, indirect supervision of 50-60 full-time employees.
