Job Summary
The Material Quality Engineer will be responsible for the qualification of new materials, management of supplier process changes, and data analysis within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include initiating and leading improvement teams, performing experiments and evaluations, and documenting work accurately. The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and over two years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or an equivalent discipline
- >2 years of experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Semiconductor or high-volume technical manufacturing
- Experience in fab unit part (UP)
- Experience with global supply chains and multi-site quality process standardization
- Experience in audit methodologies, gap analysis, and quality improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
