Job Summary
Material Project Coordinator responsible for collaborating with Production Planning to pick material, organize project-related jobs, and monitor progress of production work orders and shortages. Duties include expediting materials, reviewing jobs in CSI, maintaining accurate inventory and cycle counts, organizing and labeling the warehouse, and assisting with stock transfers and documentation. Must support the warehouse and production teams with timely material flow, accurate transactions, and continuous improvement ideas, while adhering to 5S and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to focus in a busy environment
- Knowledge of Production and inventory control (P&IC) techniques
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of MRP principles
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software
- Ability to understand assembly, use, and application of air and gas compressors and generators
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to participate in cross-training and work in a production/warehouse environment
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person; may require ability to obtain DOD security clearance
