Material Program Coordinator

Job Summary
Compile, monitor, and report material health and status to achieve program milestones. Interface with Material Program Managers, Buyers, Accounting, Production Control, and suppliers to verify yard distributions and validate purchase order requirements against receipts. Communicate with production, purchasing, and engineering regarding excess material utilization and coordinate with Parts Master and Planning for new parts creation. Develop metrics assessing business system health and compile weekly reports on material impacts and status. Organize documentation and ensure program goals are met regarding material support to production while adhering to company policies on safety, environment, and quality. Works overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of production, program coordination, warehouse or related experience in complex organizational environment
- Well-organized
- directly applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling
- Capable of multi-tasking and handle large volumes of work
- Basic knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft word, excel, power point, etc
- Good communication skills, including written and oral communication
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to read and understand purchase order requirements
- Must be familiarized with materials, yard functions, and procedures
- Must follow the Company policies and procedures, including those relative to employee safety, environmental policy, and the principles of our quality system
- Works overtime as required
