Job Summary
Monitor production performance and quality controls while working with supervisors to reallocate resources and resolve process issues. Lead daily stand-ups, participate in customer meetings, and track inventory levels and KPIs to maintain UPH expectations. Conduct on-the-job training, manage attendance rosters, and implement 6S audit adjustments across the production floor. Compile daily reports, analyze data, and escalate performance concerns to leadership. Requires forklift certification if needed for the area of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 year of previous light manufacturing experience or 1 year of previous Inspector experience
- Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations
- Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Work knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
- Must be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leading
- Forklift certified if needed for area of responsibility
Desired Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, or another applicable environment
- Database software- data entry software in existing programs
- Spreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- basic understanding and data entry into a preformed spreadsheet
- Word processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reports
