Job Summary
Conduct unloading and sorting of various metals and materials while accurately identifying ferrous and non-ferrous types per ISO specifications. Record weights of processed items and maintain a clean, organized work area by baling trash and inspecting for environmental hazards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely task completion while adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs, during the night shift from 4pm to Midnight. Maintain honesty and trustworthiness when working unsupervised.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Assisting unloading and sorting various metals and materials
- Accurately identify and record weight of materials being processed
- Properly identify ferrous &non-ferrous metal types and materials in accordance with company standards and internal ISO specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to all safety guidelines ,procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, which include baling accumulated trash, keeping walkways free of debris, and performing environmental hazard inspections
- Strong work ethic
- Honest and Trustworthy
- Ability to work unsupervised some of the time
- Stay on task
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical labor such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting (50lbs)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Come with a great attitude and ready to learn
- Night Shift 4pm to Midnight
- Weekends as needed
