Job Summary
Fabricate all materials and parts for production assembly areas by punching, riveting, sawing, drilling, buffing, grinding, or fabricating to drawing specifications or management directives. Maintain a productive pace to prevent shop flow slowdowns while working scheduled shifts, overtime with little notice, and any shift or day required to meet delivery schedules. Perform tasks assigned by management, including those not outlined in this summary, while operating in a moderate to high noise environment and handling physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights over six feet, and standing on concrete for up to twelve hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- Punctual
- Properly and accurately read a tape measure in one inch increments
- Communicate clearly with others
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work on concrete for up to twelve hours per day up to six (6) days per week
- Must be able to work at heights of greater than 6 feet on a regular basis/as work dictates
- Willing to work overtime when necessary/required and with short notice
- Willing to work overtime with little to no notice and able to work any shift or day that production finds necessary to maintain delivery schedules
- Willing to complete all task given by management including those not outlined in this summary
- Exposure to but not limited to are rain, sleet, snow, high winds, sun, and mud is likely
- The production area is a moderate to high noise level environment
- All employment offers are contingent on passing a drug screen
