Job Summary

Lead, coach, and develop the Materials Planning team to drive performance and accountability. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to support production schedules and operational goals. Build and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships to support performance and reliability. Monitor, report, and drive KPIs to ensure process control and continuous improvement. Identify and mitigate supply risks, including shortages and escalation management. Ensure material schedules and purchase orders are released accurately and executed effectively. Maintain high levels of integrity and accuracy across planning data, shortage reporting, and material reviews. Maximize and continuously improve the use of ERP/MRP systems, including supporting and leading implementation and upgrade initiatives. Support inventory optimization and achievement of stock level targets. Foster strong cross-functional relationships with operations, engineering, procurement, and other teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies and workplace organization (5S). Develop and maintain skills matrices and training plans to ensure team capability and succession readiness. Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed to Canada and UK. Onsite work required, 40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, 6:00 – 1:00 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or a similar role
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Strong understanding of MRP, MPS, and material supply methodologies
  • Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Professional certifications (CPIM, CSCP, SCMP, or equivalent) are a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or a similar role
  • Strong leadership experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Professional certifications (CPIM, CSCP, SCMP, or equivalent) are a plus
