Job Summary
Material Planning Engineer to join Yazaki's new Logistics Hub in Kurtkoy Istanbul. Responsibilities include planning, ordering and procurement of raw materials; monitoring inventory levels to meet business targets; managing stock levels of critical components and obsolete materials; developing strong supplier relationships and improving supplier capability; implementing material planning processes for new projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, excellent written/spoken English, at least 2 years in material planning, proficiency with MS Office, advanced SAP knowledge, and ability to reside in Istanbul Anatolian Side. The role emphasizes engagement with suppliers, inventory optimization, and integration of planning processes within a logistics-focused automotive components environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, business management or related fields
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning
- MS Office proficiency
- Advanced SAP knowledge
- Ability to reside in Istanbul Anatolian Side
